RAINY DAYS

I feel like it always rains the day after my parents are in town for a visit.

This is G and my Mom enjoying a juicy peach post bath. This would have never in a million years happened when I was her age.

THANKSGIVING

There is something about Thanksgiving that never disappoints. Today was another perfect Thanksgiving. In fact, I’m going on record to say it’s my favourite holiday. That’s a big call, no?

G certainly thinks so.

SNEAK PEAK: Family Photo Shoot

Do you know what happens when you work full time, rush home to play with your babe and then add five photo shoots in two weeks to your schedule? Well, overall you’re happy but you get a throat infection. I’m home sick today and after sleeping from 10am until close to dinner my body still feels tired but my brain has turned to mush. I figured a quick post would be a nice break to my uneventful day.

I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I enjoyed photographing this family. Look at how fun these kids are! If you’re interested in booking a photo shoot now is the time to do it. The city looks beautiful at this time of year and you don’t have to wear an unflattering puffy coat.

FLYING SOUTH…

I wish I could do that.  Fall kicked me in the face this morning. Did anyone else feel that way?

We spent our weekend tucked away at my inlaws celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary. G and her cousins spent lots of time fighting over this Doctor’s set and then slinking through the woods in the backyard.

Who feels rested after a long weekend?  Not me! It’s always worth filling them to the brim though.

JUST A REGULAR WEDNESDAY NIGHT

Last night I was strolling through the park with G and an old friend when we stumbled upon thirty hula hooping women. That’s right – Women with Hoops that glow in the dark, sparkle and light on fire. It’s called a Hoop Jam and they happen weekly five seconds from my house. I went to an all girls school and love all girl parties! These women were warm, welcoming and very gracious. They didn’t blink an eye when I came back with my camera and peppered them with questions while clicking away.

KETCHUP AND FRENCH FRIES

This space has been quiet lately – we were busy visiting my parents and introducing G to french fries and ketchup.
